Nikon AF-S Nikkor 16-35mm lens : Nikon Europe announces the AF-S Nikkor 16-35mm F4G ED VR, the world’s first ultra-wide angle zoom lens with VR for FX-format cameras. The new lens offers an affordable and practical proposition for general photography with FX-format cameras such as the D700. The Nikon AF-S Nikkor 16-35MM F4G ED VR is the world’s first ultra-wide angle zoom lens to feature Vibration Reduction technology, providing the ability to shoot at shutter speeds up to four stops slower. The application of VR complements the f/4 maximum aperture when shooting in low light. The Nikon 16-35mm lens is scheduled to go on sale on February 19, 2010.

Samsung WB2000

Samsung WB2000 digital camera : According to Amazon, we will soon be able to welcome a new Samsung digital camera. It is currently still unknown whether this is a region-specific release, or whether the Samsung camera will be introduced worldwide. We will bring you updates as they become available. We are talking about the Samsung WB2000 (here), a camera from the WB-series cameras (Europe), or Samsung HZ-series cameras (U.S.). The Amazon online shop states that the Samsung WB2000 is a 10 megapixel camera with 5x optical zoom, including an attractive 3-inch AMOLED display. The Samsung WB2000 will come with a price tag of £329.99/Euro381/$523, and will be available in May 2010.

Sony-Ericsson Aspen
