Casio Z35, S7: Two new entry-level compacts
Casio has introduced two new digital cameras for this year’s PMA show, both entry-level units with affordable pricing. The Casio S7 and Casio Z35 are closely related, sharing the same lens, and similar image sensors as well as much of their firmware functionality. Although their 1/2.3-inch sensors do differ, both cameras have effective resolutions of twelve megapixels. The S7 and Z35 share a 3x optical zoom lens that has a rather tight 35.5mm wide angle, and a maximum aperture of F3.1 to F5.6 across the zoom range….
