Samsung Monte phones

Samsung Monte mobile phones : Whoever visited the Mobile World Congress themselves could not get around Samsung. With one of the largest and most colorful booths, Samsung presented itself optimally, in our opinion. Of course there already was attention for the Samsung Wave, but also the Samsung Monte S5620 received the necessary attention. Although we truly had to look for it… The Samsung Monte S5620 is a mobile phone meant for the masses, or rather, it is a mid-range handset. The 3-inch display is just a bit smaller than the remarkable high-end cell phones, but it does have a WQVGA resolution and the most recent TouchWiz interface. All in all it is a pretty interesting Smartphone from Samsung, and worth taking a look at.

Samsung Shark phones

Samsung Shark cell phones : Next to the Samsung Wave, there were some other new cell phones launched during the Mobile World Congress 2010 in Spain, such as the Samsung Shark mobile phones. This new series is made up out of three cell phones, including the Samsung Shark 2 S5550. Equipped with a fine AMOLED display and a 5 Megapixel auto focus camera with build-in LED flash, this model is actually a combination of the standard and the multifunctional Smartphone. The fine quality display has a bit of a small format of 2.2-inches, but due to its high contrast and clarity, is not even so quickly noticeable. The Samsung Shark phone design is nice, but not even so remarkable. In any case, you won’t be making the comparison with a shark.

Take the very cheap Vodafone 150 mobile phone, aimed at a large group of potential consumers that live in countries where wealth is not present for a large part of the population. We have to think about countries such as India, but also the African countries. To be able to communicate by mobile phone can mean a new chance for people from this group.

HTC HD mini review

HTC HD mini review : A remarkable development in Smartphones is the running trend to go smaller. Smaller smartphones, with smaller displays. Although that is a broad concept, because a 3.2-inch format display is still not less than average for a modern smartphone. In any case, there was reason enough for HTC to come up with the HTC HD mini smartphone. It is a new Windows Mobile smartphone with a more compact design and with a more modest format display of 3.2 inches. In comparison with the high-end smartphones with a 4.3-inch format, it makes quite a difference. New Garmin-Asus Smartphones at Mobile World Congress 2010 : The times that you used your cell phone only to make calls, seem like a long time ago. In this way we saw many applications during the Mobile World Congress 2010 in Barcelona that have nothing to do with mobile communication, but that do all make use of the cell phone platform and its different operating systems. The value of a cell phone and also measure of dependence that we have of a smartphone becomes greater every day. In this way we see several new Garmin-Asus products, including the new Garmin-Asus A50. At first glance it seems to be a strong combination of mobile communication and GPS navigation.

Puma sports phone

Sagem PUMA cell phone : A nicely remarkable appearance was the introduction of the so-called Puma phone. It is a new smartphone that was created through intense collaboration between Puma and Sagem. We must admit that at first we were a bit skeptical. It is nice to collaborate, and ride on each other’s coattails, but after a first encounter, this Sagem Puma smartphone seems to be a pretty good thing. In terms of hardware, this Puma phone is not really remarkable, except of course its start screen. With a display format of 2.8-inches and a pretty standard resolution, these are not features with which the Puma phone can distinguish itself.

Huawei 3G cell phones

Huawei 3G phones : According to president Lu Yimin, president of China Unicom, it just might be possible that the amount of 3G subscribers or providers will raise significantly the world over if the cell phone manufacturers are successful in lowering the prices of the 3G smartphones. The amounts of high-end 3G phones are available in high numbers, but there are not many entry-level models. And according to Lu Yimin, that’s where there are more chances for success. Huawei Technologies has in any case understood that and presented several low-priced 3G phones during the MWC 2010 in Barcelona. And when both companies have their way, this could mean quite a boost in sales.
